In an event brought to life by Taste of Melbourne, Diners Club presents an epic collaboration with Iki-jime's own James Cornwall and 2018 New Zealand Chef of the Year, Giulio Sturla of the award-winning Roots.
Celebrate the very best of indigenous ingredients with a 6-course degustation showcasing the native produce from both Australia and New Zealand. Playing on the classic theme of the humble surf n turf, this special event sees two brilliant chefs create a magnificent mix of both land and sea.
Originally hailing from Chile, Giulio has worked in many kitchens around the globe, including the world-renowned Mugaritz in Spain. Giulio has always been a champion of New Zealand's incredible produce, having made it the foundation of his former restaurant Roots in Lyttelton, which was the only restaurant outside of Auckland to achieve the ultimate three-hat status at the Cuisine Good Food Awards.
Don’t miss your chance to enjoy a unique, intimate dining experience forged from quality ingredients and restrained cooking techniques.
