So What Exactly is 'The Vue de monde Experience?'
Vue de monde has been celebrating milestones, creating enduring memories and treasuring special moments with its guests for almost 20 years. The desire to create remarkable experiences for our guests has extended beyond the walls of the restaurant for the first time with the launch of the Vue de monde Experience on the Vue Shop.
Exclusively available on the Vue Shop are the ceramics, glassware, centrepieces, cutlery and more that are created specifically for Vue de monde by local and international artists. Whether you fell in love with your sparkling's stemware or searching for the perfect one-of-a-kind gift, the Vue de monde Experience explores the incredible work of some spectacular artisans.
Forego the factory produced and mass distributed stoneware for a unique and timeless design, handcrafted by the artist themselves. Andrei Davidoff’s ceramics are created from wheel-thrown local clay and sculpted in his home studio in Melbourne.
Orio Randi of Prahran-based furniture studio Arteveneta has been producing custom items for the restaurant for over 15 years. The famous Vue de monde house-made cultured butter is right at home atop Randi’s pat that is shaped from seasoned timber.
Local artisan Miles Johnson uses traditional glass blowing methods to recycle wine bottles from Vue de monde and create beautiful, one-of-a-kind water glasses and jugs.
